We’ve got the Pacific Ocean on one side, the Avon River / Ōtākora Estuary on the other. Our 300-metre pier is an icon of Christchurch and holds the title of the longest ocean pier in Australasia. Local artists create incredible, edgy masterpieces on the walls of buildings, the streets and even the sand. Our market provides some fantastic finds and you’ll also see a great selection of local wildlife on our beach and estuary.
